I purchased Ed Leake's God Tier Ads course for $595, and this is my honest review from someone who's been in digital marketing for over 10 years and exited my own agency after growing it to $6M ARR.
If you're reading this, you probably already know that this course is generally well regarded in the Google ads and PPC space.
But is it approachable and relevant for everyone?
Why Trust My Review?
I exited my SEO agency and took some time off to figure out my next move.
After deciding I really wanted to get into PPC and paid ads in general, I started looking for the best courses out there to learn all of the fundamentals of Google ads.
I also read every single Amazon book on PPC I could find with significant credibility, so feel like I have a good understanding of multiple styles of doing Goolge ads from reputable people.
God Tier Ads was frequently mentioned across Reddit and other social channels, so I took the plunge and shelled out $595 for the course + additional bonuses (like a landing page framework) and dived right in.
So this review is my 100% real, authentic, non AI-generated review of going through the God Tier ads course step by step!
Let's get into it...
Course Overview & First Impressions
First impressions are that there's a huge amount of content in here, but it's packed a very nice methodical way.
The 'main course' is the PPC performance framework which has over 120 lessons, with a very clear starting point, end point and categories along the way.
On top of that, there's another 7-8 'mini courses' like LinkedIn Ads, and one of my own personal favourites was the 'Workshop Library' videos, where you get to see Ed doing incredibly detailed video audits of various Google ad accounts (lead gen + ecommerce) and understand exactly how a top Google ads pro goes about his business, with no stone left unturned.
Here's an overview of what's included in God Tier ads for the $595 price:

The main course is organised beautifully into rational categories - so the journey takes you from the absolute foundations like conversion tracking & making sure you're properly attributing ad conversions, all the way through the fine detail optimisations you can make in your ad accounts.
It's incredibly comprehensive with a mix of video content and PDF content.
And honestly, even though it's a lot of content I didn't have a dull moment because Ed explains things in such a simple (and humourous way) that that you won't get bored.
Here's some of the categories within the main course:
I really hate when people overcomplicate subjects that already feel complicated. Ed does not do this - He's a great educator with a very clear style that cuts through the fluff.
Quote from Ed Leake
"AI and automation aren’t replacing you — they’re replacing marketers without strategy. The God Tier Ads Framework teaches you the fundamentals that make automation work for you — not against you."
Deeper Dive
I don't want to giveaway all of the absolute gold sitting in this framework, but I will do a slightly deeper dive on how I took action on what I learned from God Tier ads.
I'd done some dabbling in Google ads before at my agency (with someone else doing the core of the work, me just giving inputs) and the whole thing fascinated me. But I didn't just want a theoretical knowledge.
✈️ My wife started a travel planning company here in the UK, and I saw that Google ads could be a really strong source of customers for her new business. I wanted to learn from this course so that I could actually implement that into a real World scenario on a new Google ads account.

So yes, I did literally set up and operate a new Google ads account at the exact same time as I was running through the God Tier ads course!
Ed includes 'cheat sheets' as you go and failsafe-style lists, so that when I finally did launch a Google ads campaign, I was feeling confident.
He also includes what to do (or what not to do) in the first 1-2 weeks and 1-2 months.
👀 Here's some of the results from my actual Google ads account over a period of a few months:

Yes those are the real numbers for her lead-generation business.
Each qualified lead (real, interested person who clicked the ad and sent a multi-step enquiry form) was around $7, and out of those leads, she's converting on average around 1 in 6 customers.
So her cost to acquire a new customer from Google ads stands at around $42.
This is incredibly good, especially when you consider her average profit on a single customer is well over $750.
Here's the actual screenshot from Google ads below, so you know I'm not just making these numbers up...

If we're judging God Tier Ads on the basis of real-World results from implementing what Ed teaches (which of course we should be) then I can reach no other conclusion than to say it's just about perfection.
My assumptions on Google ads (before God Tier)
I desperately wanted Google ads to be a profitable channel of leads for my wife's new business in the travel space.
But honestly, my assumptions would be that this is a very saturated market with a ton of advertisers, and that profitability may be very hard to come by, especially with an unestablished brand and a low budget.
✅ However, even with a very modest small-busines budget of just £1500 per month (around $2000) to spend for Google ads, they've been wildly profitable for her business throughout!
Value for Money
The version of God Tier ads I bought was $595 - and it included all the extra bells and whistles which I found a very valuable addition.
It's incredible value for money when you consider the years of knowledge accumulated here, and the fact that Ed updates this course religiously - As far as I know this is all Ed works on full time.

They also have a private community called 'God Tier Alpha' which is where you pay $395 per month for access to other World-class Google ads individuals, and the proper 'keys to the castle' for things like landing page templates and training calls with others inside the community.
If you're working at a PPC agency or you're a serious PPC professional, then I'd 100% recommend this community because from what I can see on YouTube and LinkedIn (you can check out various clips from Eds youtube channel, it's a very open and positive-minded group with no egos.
I think this mindset is crucial - In the somewhat toxic age of social media, we see gurus everywhere with big loud opinions. It may be because of the British influence (Ed's British), but there's just a very calm sensibility across everything in God Tier ads which I loved, and the people involved seem like really great people open to new ideas and opinions from all.
The Overall Verdict - 10/10
God Tier Ads is a phenomenal course for learning Google ads.
Not to come across as arrogant, but I feel like I'm very well qualified to independently judge a course like this. I've worked professionally in digital marketing for over 15 years, and I've sold a 40+ person SEO agency, so feel like I have a pretty good idea of fake gurus vs. legitimate operators in this World.
Ed Leake has created is a course which teaches you all of the timeless fundamentals of Google ads that aren't going to disappear with future platform changes.
The beautiful thing about this course is that the material is approachable for relatively newbies to PPC (like me) but also for seasoned professionals. I know for a fact that many renowned PPC agencies use this course as essential training material for new hires.
Additionally, they have the monthly paid community for serious PPC pros, giving you the option to evolve and join a like-minded community of people who just want to get exceptional Google ads results.
Boris - I absolutely agree with your opinion on God Tier ads...

I'll end by saying that I've spent more than I care to admit on marketing & advertising courses and educational online products over the years.
God Tier Ads honestly probably stands alone right at the very top in the category of "must have" for anyone who really wants to get a proper understanding of how to make Google ads profitable.
In a World where cringeworthy gurus are telling you to "invest in yourself" I can honestly say this is one of those courses where that investment will be very likely to actually pay off.
My advice? Dive into God Tier ads and don't look back.
