Cover reading ClickFunnels alternatives when you need one good page, beside stacked page cards on a dark background

ClickFunnels is $97 a month and it prices by contacts: 10,000 on Launch, 75,000 on Scale, 150,000 on Optimize. Every plan has unlimited funnels. What you pay for is the size of the list you keep.

That model suits a business selling a course through a webinar and an upsell chain. It suits a plumber running Google Ads to one quote page rather badly, and that is most of the people I hear from. I read every number on this page from each vendor’s own site on 30 August 2026.

👉 The short version

If you sell through a multi-step funnel with email follow-up, ClickFunnels earns its $97 and the alternatives are Kartra-style suites this post does not cover. If you run ads to a landing page and want the click to convert, you are paying for a funnel builder to do a landing page job. Swipe Pages does that job for $29 with A/B testing. Postclick fixes the page you already have, free to start, and the page is yours.

What ClickFunnels costs, and what the contact limit means

ClickFunnels has four plans . Launch is $97 a month, or $81 on annual billing, for unlimited funnels, one workspace, two team members, 10,000 contacts, five custom domains and A/B testing. Scale is $197 for five workspaces, five seats and 75,000 contacts. Optimize is $297 for ten workspaces, ten seats and 150,000 contacts. Dominate is $5,997 a year for 20 workspaces and 400,000 contacts. Every plan has a 14-day trial.

ClickFunnels plans in 2026: Launch $97 for 10,000 contacts, Scale $197 for 75,000, Optimize $297 for 150,000, Dominate $5,997 a year

A contact is anyone who fills in a form or buys. That is the number that grows whether you want it to or not. An ad campaign that captures 400 leads a month fills the Launch allowance in about two years, and a business that has been running for a while may already be past it on day one.

The other thing to say is that ClickFunnels includes A/B testing on Launch, which Unbounce, Instapage and Landingi do not on their entry plans. If you compare the $97 to those tools’ testing tiers, it is fair value. If you compare it to what a landing page for ads needs, it is a lot of features you will never open.

What a Google Ads landing page needs, and a funnel does not

A funnel is a sequence: opt-in page, thank-you page, offer, upsell, order bump, email follow-up. A Google Ads landing page is one page with one job. The person searched for something specific, the ad promised it, and the page has to deliver it and ask for one action.

Across the 100 Google Ads accounts I can see, the pages that convert best have five things in common, and none of them is a second step. The headline repeats the search. The page loads in under three seconds on a phone. There is one call to action. The form fires a conversion the bid strategy can learn from. And there is a way to test a second version. Every builder below does all five.

What a Google Ads landing page has to do: match the search, load fast, one call to action, a form that fires a conversion, and a way to test, with where builders differ

1) Swipe Pages, the landing page builder priced like one

Swipe Pages is $29 for unlimited pages, 20,000 visitors, one custom domain, five team members and server-side A/B testing. Marketer at $69 gives 50,000 visitors and five domains. Agency at $149 gives 500,000 visitors, unlimited domains and client sub-accounts. Overage is $5 per 5,000 visits.

Before you pick a plan, count your visitors. Divide the monthly ad budget by the cost per click. At the $4.34 median I see across US Search accounts, $10,000 a month is about 2,300 visitors, which sits comfortably under the 20,000 cap.

The visitor cap sum at the $4.34 median cost per click: $3,000 a month is 691 visitors, $10,000 is 2,304, $30,000 is 6,912, $100,000 is 23,041

It has no email automation and no order bumps. That is the point. For $29 you get the page, the test and the form, which is the whole job for ad traffic. It is the tool I point small businesses at when they ask whether they need ClickFunnels for a Google Ads campaign.

2) Unbounce, the best testing once you pay for it

Unbounce starts at $29 with a 500-visitor cap that rules it out for ads. Build at $99 allows 20,000 visitors with no testing. Experiment at $149 gives unlimited A/B tests and 30,000 visitors. Optimize at $249 adds Smart Traffic, which sends each visitor to the version most likely to convert.

Against ClickFunnels Launch at $97, Unbounce Experiment at $149 costs more and does less on the funnel side. It builds a better landing page and tests it better. The Unbounce alternatives post has the visitor cap sum if you want to check the tier you would need.

What A/B testing costs per month across six builders: Swipe Pages $29, ClickFunnels $97, Leadpages $99, Landingi $119, Unbounce $149, Instapage $199

3) Leadpages, the nearest thing to a funnel without the contact limit

Leadpages Grow is $99 with unlimited traffic, unlimited leads, manual A/B testing, dynamic text replacement and a lead-enrichment allowance. Optimize at $199 adds Smart Traffic and heatmaps. The trial is seven days.

Leadpages is the alternative for people who liked the ClickFunnels idea and hated the contact meter. It has popups, alert bars and simple sequences, and the price never moves with the list. It is not a full funnel builder, and the sales-page templates lean toward the same style ClickFunnels made famous. The Leadpages alternatives post is the other side of that coin.

4) Instapage, if the pages are for clients

Instapage is $99 for Create, with 15,000 visitors and no testing, and $199 for Optimize with server-side testing, scheduling and dynamic text. It is built for agencies that edit pages together. Against ClickFunnels it is more expensive and does a narrower job, and it does that job with more polish than anything else here. The Instapage alternatives post covers when the polish is worth $199.

5) Carrd, for the business with one page and no funnel

Carrd Pro Standard is $19 a year for ten sites with custom domains and forms. No testing, no email, no cap. A local service business running one Google Ads campaign to one quote page can host that page here for the price of five ClickFunnels days, and connect the form to whatever email tool it already pays for.

6) Postclick, when the page exists and the leak is on it

I built Postclick , so read this section knowing that.

Postclick is not a builder you host pages on. It audits the page your ads already point at and lists every leak on it, ranked by what each one costs you. Then it designs two better versions in your brand and builds the one you pick as a complete HTML page you own. You put the file on your own site, on Carrd, on Cloudflare, anywhere.

A Postclick audit overview: a score out of 100, the leaks found on the page, and the fixes ranked by trust and persuasion

An audit is 18 credits, two designs are 20 and a build is 60. The free plan is 56 credits for 30 days with no card, so three full audits cost nothing. After that it is $9 for 90 credits, $29 for 300 or $99 for 1,100 . Three hundred credits takes three pages from audit to finished build, which is the whole landing page job for a small ad account for $29.

Postclick credits: 18 for an audit, 20 for two designs, 60 for the build, 56 free to start

It does not do funnels, email, order bumps or A/B tests. If you sell through a sequence, keep ClickFunnels. If you run ads to a page, this finds what is wrong with the page first, which is where I start on every account.

If you would rather have the audit, the fix and the A/B test run for you, that is the conversion rate optimization service , and the first audit is free either way.

How I would choose

  1. You sell through a webinar, a tripwire and an email sequence. Keep ClickFunnels. The alternatives on this page do not do that job.
  2. You run ads to one page and want to test it. Swipe Pages at $29.
  3. You liked ClickFunnels but not the contact meter. Leadpages Grow at $99.
  4. You build pages for clients. Instapage Optimize at $199, or Swipe Pages Agency at $149.
  5. The page exists and the conversion rate is the problem. Audit it free with Postclick . Nine times out of ten the fix is on the page. The builder had nothing to do with it.

Whichever you pick, the six landing page checks come before the build, and the examples library shows 54 real pages by industry so you can see the converting version before you make one.

Funnel or landing page? The two-minute check
WHAT THE AD PROMISES: __________________________________
WHAT THE PERSON DOES NEXT (one thing): __________________

Do you need a second page before the sale (webinar, tripwire, upsell)? Y / N
Do you need email sequences inside the same tool? Y / N
Do you need order bumps or one-click upsells? Y / N
Three N's = a landing page builder, not a funnel builder. Budget $29 to $99.
Any Y = a funnel builder. Compare ClickFunnels Launch $97 against the tool you already pay for email.

CONTACTS YOU ALREADY HOLD: ______ (ClickFunnels Launch caps at 10,000)
PAID VISITORS A MONTH (ad budget / CPC): ______ (pick a landing page plan whose cap sits above this)

Two mistakes I see on ClickFunnels exits

Rebuilding the whole funnel as landing pages. If the funnel worked, the sequence was the product. Moving it to a page builder deletes the sequence and keeps the first page. Decide which one made the money before you move.

Leaving the contacts behind. The list is the asset. Export it before the plan lapses, and load it into whichever email tool you keep. The page can be rebuilt in an afternoon. The list cannot.

If you would rather have the page fixed for you

The page your ads point at, audited free

Paste the address into Postclick and read the leaks in a few minutes. No card. For the managed version, where I design and build the page and you keep the file, the landing page service is the one to read.

What is the cheapest ClickFunnels alternative?
Carrd at $19 a year if you need one page and no testing. Swipe Pages at $29 a month if you want a landing page builder with server-side A/B testing. ClickFunnels starts at $97. Prices read on 30 August 2026.
Do I need ClickFunnels for Google Ads?
Usually not. A Google Ads landing page is one page with one job: match the search, load fast, one call to action, a form that fires a conversion. A funnel builder adds steps that search traffic does not need. Use ClickFunnels if you sell through a webinar or an upsell sequence.
How many contacts does ClickFunnels allow?
10,000 on Launch at $97, 75,000 on Scale at $197, 150,000 on Optimize at $297 and 400,000 on Dominate at $5,997 a year. A contact is anyone who fills in a form or buys, so the count grows with every campaign.
Does ClickFunnels include A/B testing?
Yes, on every plan including Launch at $97. That is better than Unbounce, Instapage and Landingi, which start A/B testing at $149, $199 and $119. Swipe Pages includes it at $29 and Leadpages at $99.
What if my landing page already exists and just does not convert?
Fix it before you move it. Postclick audits the page free, lists every leak ranked by cost, then designs and builds a better version you own as an HTML file. That is 98 credits for the whole job, and the $29 plan covers three pages a month.
