Cover reading Leadpages alternatives for paid traffic, beside stacked page cards on a dark background

Leadpages costs $99 a month on its cheapest plan, $199 on the one it recommends, and the free trial lasts seven days. That is the whole reason people search for alternatives, and it is a fair one.

I send paid traffic to landing pages for a living, and I checked every price on this page on 30 August 2026, on each vendor’s own site. Prices move. The date is there so you know how fresh the numbers are.

👉 The short version

If you want a cheap builder that can run a split test, Swipe Pages at $29 does what Leadpages charges $99 for. If you want the best testing tools, Unbounce at $149 or Instapage at $199. If you already have a page and it is not converting, Postclick audits it for free and builds a better one you own, with no hosting bill at all.

The comparison table is below, then one section per option, then how I would choose.

What Leadpages costs now

Leadpages has three plans. Grow is $99 a month , Optimize is $199 and Scale is $399. Annual billing takes 20% off each. Grow includes unlimited traffic, manual A/B testing and dynamic text replacement. Optimize adds Smart Traffic, which routes each visitor to the version it predicts will convert, plus heatmaps. Scale adds ten team seats and a dedicated manager.

Leadpages plans in 2026: Grow at $99, Optimize at $199, Scale at $399 a month

Two things to know before you sign up. The trial is seven days, which is shorter than every other builder on this page. And the plan Leadpages marks as recommended is the $199 one, so budget for that if you want the traffic routing.

For what it is worth, the unlimited traffic on Grow is a real advantage for paid traffic. Most builders cap visitors, and ads eat visitor caps. If you run $5,000 a month of Google Ads at $4 a click, that is 1,250 visitors a month, which sits under every cap below except Unbounce’s Starter. At $20,000 a month it is 5,000 visitors and the cheap plans start to pinch.

The visitor cap sum at the $4.34 median cost per click: $3,000 a month is 691 visitors, $10,000 is 2,304, $30,000 is 6,912, $100,000 is 23,041

Leadpages sits at $99 with unlimited visitors and manual testing. Read the table against that.

Entry plans compared across seven tools: price, visitors a month, whether the plan can split test, and the trial

1) Swipe Pages, the cheap one that can still test

Swipe Pages is $29 a month for unlimited pages, 20,000 visitors, one custom domain and server-side A/B testing. That last part is what makes it the first alternative I mention. Every other builder on this page locks testing behind a higher tier. Swipe Pages puts it on the cheapest plan.

The Marketer plan at $69 raises the cap to 50,000 visitors and five domains. The Agency plan at $149 allows 500,000 visitors, unlimited domains and client sub-accounts. Extra traffic costs $5 per 5,000 visits. The trial is 14 days with no card.

It is a smaller company than Leadpages and the template library shows it. If you need a page that looks like a $50,000 website, this is not the one. If you need a fast, clean page for an ad campaign and want to test two headlines, it is the best value on the list.

2) Unbounce, the best testing tools with a visitor cap you must read

Unbounce starts at $29 for five pages and 500 visitors. That cap is tiny for paid traffic. Build at $99 allows 20,000 visitors but still no A/B testing. Experiment at $149 gives unlimited A/B tests and 30,000 visitors, and Optimize at $249 adds Smart Traffic, which is Unbounce’s version of Leadpages’ visitor routing.

So the honest comparison with Leadpages is Experiment at $149 against Grow at $99. Unbounce’s testing is better and the builder is more capable. Leadpages is cheaper and has no cap. I wrote a separate post on Unbounce alternatives because the cap question deserves its own arithmetic.

3) Instapage, for agencies and people who test properly

Instapage is $99 for Create, which allows 15,000 visitors and does not include A/B testing at all. Optimize at $199 adds server-side testing, scheduling, multi-step forms and dynamic text replacement. Convert is custom-priced and adds ad-to-page personalisation, heatmaps and a dedicated manager.

At $99 it is the same price as Leadpages Grow with less in it. At $199 it is the same price as Leadpages Optimize with a stronger testing toolkit. Agencies that run pages for several clients tend to end up here. The Instapage alternatives post covers the other direction.

What A/B testing costs per month across six builders: Swipe Pages $29, ClickFunnels $97, Leadpages $99, Landingi $119, Unbounce $149, Instapage $199

4) Landingi, cheap if you pay for the year

Landingi is $24 a month on annual billing for ten pages, 2,000 visitors and one domain. Optimize at $119 raises that to 100 pages and 30,000 visitors and adds server-side testing. Scale starts at $229. The trial is 14 days and it asks for a card.

The 2,000-visitor cap on Build is the catch. That is 500 clicks a week. A single Google Ads campaign with a $2,000 monthly budget will go past it. Landingi is a good fit for a small business that runs a modest campaign and wants a cheap annual bill, and a poor fit for anyone scaling spend.

5) Carrd, one page for $19 a year

Carrd is not a landing page builder in the marketing sense. It is a one-page site builder, and the Pro Standard plan is $19 a year for ten sites with custom domains and forms. There is no A/B testing, no dynamic text and no visitor cap.

I include it because a lot of people paying $99 a month for Leadpages have one landing page that changes twice a year. If that is you, Carrd will host it for less than the cost of one Leadpages week. You give up the testing tools. You keep $1,169 a year.

6) Postclick, when the page exists and the problem is that it does not convert

I built this one, so weigh this section accordingly.

Postclick is not a hosted builder. It audits the page your ads already send people to and lists every leak on it, ranked by what the leak costs. Then it designs two better versions of the page, rendered in your brand, and builds the one you pick as a complete HTML page you host anywhere you like. There is no monthly hosting bill, because you own the file.

A Postclick audit overview: a score out of 100, the leaks found on the page, and the fixes ranked by trust and persuasion

The pricing is in credits. An audit is 18 credits, two designs are 20, and a build is 60. The free plan gives 56 credits for 30 days with no card, which is three complete audits. After that it is $9 a month for 90 credits, $29 for 300, or $99 for 1,100 . Three hundred credits is three pages taken from audit to a finished build.

Postclick credits: 18 for an audit, 20 for two designs, 60 for the build, 56 free to start

What it does not do matters as much. It does not host. It does not run A/B tests. It does not have a drag-and-drop editor. If you want to build twenty pages a month from templates, use one of the five tools above. If you have three pages that your ad budget depends on and you want them fixed, this is the cheaper route, and the page you get back is yours.

If you would rather have the audit, the fix and the A/B test run for you, that is the conversion rate optimization service , and the first audit is free either way.

How I would choose

  1. You have one page and it changes rarely. Carrd, $19 a year.
  2. You want to build pages and test them on a small budget. Swipe Pages, $29 a month.
  3. You want the best testing and traffic routing. Unbounce Experiment at $149, or Leadpages Optimize at $199 if you want unlimited traffic with it.
  4. You run pages for several clients. Instapage Optimize at $199, or Swipe Pages Agency at $149 if the budget matters more than the polish.
  5. You already have a page and it is not converting. Run the free Postclick audit first. Fix the page before you pay to host a new one.

Whichever builder you pick, the page has to match the ad. The landing page analysis method is the six checks I run before a page goes live, and the landing page examples library has 54 real pages by industry if you want to see what good looks like before you build.

Three mistakes I see with builder switches

Moving pages without moving the tracking. The new page goes live, the conversion tag stays on the old one, and Google Ads spends a fortnight bidding on nothing. Move the tag first.

Paying for a visitor cap you will hit in week one. Divide your monthly ad budget by your cost per click before you pick a plan. That number is your visitors. Compare it with the cap.

Choosing the builder before fixing the page. Nine times out of ten the page fails on message match, speed or a buried call to action, and the builder had nothing to do with it. The landing page analyzer comparison covers the tools that find those problems.

What is the cheapest Leadpages alternative?
Carrd at $19 a year if you need one page and no testing. Swipe Pages at $29 a month if you want a proper landing page builder with server-side A/B testing, which Leadpages only offers from $99. Prices checked on 30 August 2026.
Is Unbounce better than Leadpages?
Unbounce has stronger testing tools, but its cheapest plan caps you at 500 visitors a month and A/B testing starts at $149. Leadpages Grow is $99 with unlimited traffic and manual A/B testing. For heavy paid traffic on a budget, Leadpages. For serious testing, Unbounce Experiment.
Does Leadpages have a free plan?
No. Leadpages has a seven-day free trial, then plans at $99, $199 and $399 a month. Swipe Pages, Unbounce and Instapage offer 14-day trials. Postclick has a free plan with 56 credits and no card, enough for three full audits.
Do I need a landing page builder for Google Ads at all?
Not always. If you already have a page, the usual problem is that it does not match the ad, loads slowly or hides the call to action. Fixing that page is often cheaper than hosting a new one. Postclick audits the page free and builds a better version you own.
Which landing page builder has unlimited traffic?
Leadpages includes unlimited traffic on every plan. Carrd has no cap either. Unbounce, Instapage, Swipe Pages and Landingi all cap visitors by plan, from 500 a month on Unbounce Starter to 500,000 on Swipe Pages Agency.
