Cover reading Instapage alternatives for ad traffic, beside stacked page cards on a dark background

Instapage’s Create plan is $99 a month and cannot run an A/B test. Optimize, the plan with testing, is $199. That $100 step is the reason most Instapage searches end with the word “alternatives” after them.

I run ads to landing pages every day, and I keep 54 real examples of them on this site. Every price below was read from the vendor’s own pricing page on 30 August 2026.

👉 The short version

If you need Instapage-grade polish and collaboration, Unbounce Experiment at $149 is the closest rival with better testing. If you need the job done for less, Swipe Pages at $29 includes server-side testing. If your problem is a page that already exists and does not convert, Postclick audits it free and builds a better one you own, with no hosting plan at all.

What Instapage costs, plan by plan

Instapage has three plans . Create is $99 a month for 15,000 unique visitors, the page builder, reusable blocks, real-time collaboration, popups and AI content. Optimize is $199, or about $159 on annual billing, for 30,000 or 50,000 visitors, server-side A/B testing, scheduling, multi-step forms and dynamic text replacement. Convert is custom-priced and adds ad-to-page personalisation, heatmaps, global elements and a dedicated manager. The trial is 14 days.

Instapage plans in 2026: Create at $99 with no A/B testing, Optimize at $199 with server-side testing, Convert at custom pricing

Fifteen thousand visitors is generous for most accounts. At the $4.34 median cost per click across the 53 US Search accounts I can see, that is $65,000 a month of ads before the cap bites. Optimize’s 30,000 covers $130,000.

The visitor cap sum at the $4.34 median cost per click: $3,000 a month is 691 visitors, $10,000 is 2,304, $30,000 is 6,912, $100,000 is 23,041

Instapage is built for agencies and teams. The collaboration features are real: comments on the page, shared blocks, a review flow. If four people touch every page, that is worth paying for. If one person builds a page a month for an ad campaign, most of the $199 is paying for seats you do not use.

The other thing to say is that Instapage’s testing, once you have it, is good. Server-side split tests with proper traffic allocation and a history of every experiment. That is the feature I would miss most on a cheaper tool.

Entry plans compared across seven tools: price, visitors a month, whether the plan can split test, and the trial

1) Unbounce, the closest rival

Unbounce Experiment is $149 for 30,000 visitors, three users, two domains and unlimited A/B testing. Optimize at $249 adds Smart Traffic, which routes each visitor to the variant most likely to convert, and 50,000 visitors. The trial is 14 days with no card.

Against Instapage Optimize at $199, Unbounce Experiment is $50 cheaper with the same visitor allowance and testing that is at least as good. Instapage’s collaboration and its enterprise personalisation are better. Unbounce’s Smart Traffic has no equivalent below Instapage’s custom-priced tier. Most in-house teams I know that left Instapage went here. The Unbounce alternatives post covers its visitor caps, which are the thing to check before you move.

2) Swipe Pages, the same test for $29

Swipe Pages is $29 for unlimited pages, 20,000 visitors, one domain, five team members and server-side A/B testing. Marketer is $69 with 50,000 visitors and five domains. Agency is $149 with 500,000 visitors, unlimited domains and client sub-accounts.

That Agency plan at $149 is the one to weigh against Instapage for agency work. Sub-accounts per client, unlimited domains, and a visitor allowance ten times Instapage Optimize’s. What you give up is polish. The templates are plainer and the editor has fewer tricks. The pages load fast, which Google rewards with a lower cost per click, and that matters more than the editor.

What A/B testing costs per month across six builders: Swipe Pages $29, ClickFunnels $97, Leadpages $99, Landingi $119, Unbounce $149, Instapage $199

3) Leadpages, no visitor cap at $99

Leadpages Grow is $99 with unlimited traffic, manual A/B testing and dynamic text replacement. Optimize at $199 adds Smart Traffic and heatmaps. The trial is seven days.

At $99 it does what Instapage Create does and adds manual testing and no cap. At $199 it matches Instapage Optimize on price with automatic traffic routing that Instapage keeps for enterprise. The builder is less refined than Instapage’s. The Leadpages alternatives post is the mirror of this one.

4) Landingi, the cheap annual plan

Landingi Build is $24 a month on annual billing for ten pages and 2,000 visitors. Optimize is $119 for 100 pages, 30,000 visitors and server-side testing. Scale starts at $229.

Landingi’s $119 plan is the one to compare with Instapage Optimize. Same visitor allowance, server-side testing, $80 less a month. The 2,000-visitor cap on the cheap plan rules it out for any serious campaign, so it is really a $119 tool for this audience.

5) Postclick, when you do not need another builder

I built Postclick , so this is the section to weigh carefully.

Postclick is not a hosted builder and has no seats, no visitor cap and no templates. It audits the page your ads send people to and lists every leak on it, ranked by what the leak costs you. It then designs two better versions of the page in your brand and builds the one you pick as a complete HTML file. You host that file wherever you already host things.

A Postclick audit overview: a score out of 100, the leaks found on the page, and the fixes ranked by trust and persuasion

An audit costs 18 credits, two designs 20 and a build 60. The free plan is 56 credits for 30 days with no card, enough for three audits. Paid plans are $9 for 90 credits, $29 for 300 and $99 for 1,100 . The $99 plan takes eleven pages from audit to finished build in a month, which for an agency is a very different bill from eleven Instapage workspaces.

Postclick credits: 18 for an audit, 20 for two designs, 60 for the build, 56 free to start

It does not run A/B tests and it will not replace a team’s shared editor. For an agency that builds pages collaboratively all day, Instapage or Unbounce is the right tool. For an agency that inherits client pages and has to make them convert, the audit is where the work starts, and the build means the client owns the result.

If you would rather have the audit, the fix and the A/B test run for you, that is the conversion rate optimization service , and the first audit is free either way.

How I would choose

  1. A team of four or more editing pages together. Instapage Optimize at $199, or Unbounce Experiment at $149 if you can live without the review flow.
  2. One marketer, paid traffic, needs to test. Swipe Pages at $29.
  3. Heavy traffic, no cap, testing by hand. Leadpages Grow at $99.
  4. Agency with many small clients. Swipe Pages Agency at $149 for the sub-accounts, or Postclick at $99 for eleven audit-to-build pages a month.
  5. A page that exists and underperforms. Run the free Postclick audit before you rebuild it anywhere.

Before any of these, run the page through the six landing page checks . A builder cannot fix a page that answers a different ad. And the landing page examples library has 54 real pages by industry, so you can see what the converting version looks like before you build one.

Instapage exit checklist, to paste into a doc
PAGES TO MOVE: ______ VISITORS A MONTH (ad budget / CPC, plus a third): ______
NEW BUILDER: ______________ PLAN: ______ CAP: ______ A/B TESTING INCLUDED: Y / N

BEFORE THE SWITCH
[ ] Export every page as HTML or rebuild it on the new tool
[ ] Conversion tag and GTM container on the new page, test-fired
[ ] Dynamic text replacement parameters carried over (Unbounce, Leadpages, Instapage)
[ ] Redirects from old URLs, or ads repointed the same hour
[ ] Page speed on a phone under 3 seconds (PageSpeed Insights)

AFTER THE SWITCH
[ ] Conversions in Google Ads match the CRM for 7 days
[ ] Cost per click did not rise (a slower page raises it)
[ ] Postclick audit run on the new page: score ____ / 100

Two mistakes I see on Instapage exits

Losing the personalisation parameters. Instapage pages often carry dynamic text keyed to the ad group. Move to a builder without it, or forget to map the parameters, and every ad lands on the same generic headline. The cost per conversion rises and nobody connects it to the move.

Rebuilding the page slower. A heavier template on the new builder adds a second to the load. Google’s quality score notices, the cost per click rises, and the saving on the plan goes back to Google. Test the new page on a phone before the ads point at it.

If you would rather have the page fixed for you

Paste the address into Postclick and read the leaks in a few minutes. No card. For the managed version, where I design and build the page and you keep the file, the landing page service is the one to read.

What is the best Instapage alternative for agencies?
Unbounce Experiment at $149 for the closest feature match with stronger testing, or Swipe Pages Agency at $149 for client sub-accounts and a 500,000-visitor allowance. Postclick at $99 covers eleven audit-to-build pages a month if the work is fixing client pages rather than building from templates. Prices read on 30 August 2026.
Does Instapage Create include A/B testing?
No. A/B testing starts on Optimize at $199 a month. Swipe Pages includes server-side A/B testing on its $29 plan, and Leadpages includes manual A/B testing at $99.
Is Unbounce cheaper than Instapage?
For a plan with A/B testing, yes: Unbounce Experiment is $149 against Instapage Optimize at $199, with the same 30,000-visitor allowance. Instapage has better collaboration tools. Unbounce has Smart Traffic on its $249 plan, which Instapage only offers at enterprise pricing.
Does Instapage have a free plan?
No. Instapage offers a 14-day free trial, then $99 or $199 a month. Postclick has a free plan with 56 credits and no card, enough for three full landing page audits.
Can I move my Instapage pages to another builder?
You rebuild them. Hosted builders do not export a page that runs elsewhere. Postclick builds pages as complete HTML files you own, so the next move is a file copy. Whichever way you go, move the conversion tag and the dynamic text parameters first.
